Mr Venkat Sarma, Senior Vice President / Head - Retail Risk Portfolio Management,
Global Group Risk Management, ABN AMRO Bank
Venkat Sarma is based in Amsterdam and is presently working as the Senior Vice President and Head of Retail Risk Portfolio Management in the Global Group Risk Management division of ABN AMRO Bank. In this position, he is responsible for overseeing group policy, portfolio quality, monitoring key trends and designing portfolio and capital management strategies across Retail and SME portfolios of ABN AMRO for markets in Netherlands, Asia and Eastern Europe.
Sarma is a banking professional with 21 years of experience across several large banking institutions in multiple locations and has worked in marketing, products operations, finance and risk disciplines. During this period, Sarma specialized in the risk management of large retail portfolios profitably across several diverse geographies in Asia, Middle East, North and South America as well as Europe.
Sarma holds an Engineering and MBA degree. He has spoken in a number of retail banking, credit cards and risk conferences on varied subjects including managing risk in emerging markets, Basel II implementation, Program lending and credit cycle management.
 
Mr Farhan Farooqi, Sr. Program Manager, Asia & Chief Technology Officer Hong Kong
Technology Services Asia, ABN AMRO Bank

Farhan is an experienced technology leader who has performed senior management roles at local and regional levels with ABN AMRO Bank (AAB), a global bank (now RBS in Asia), overseeing strategy, projects, systems, mergers & acquisitions, and major outsourcing initiatives with top global vendors, as well as supporting business growth in an increasingly competitive and cost conscious environment. Currently, responsible for Hong Kong technology services, and managing the entire Technology Separation Programme for RBS (Asia) i.e. disentanglement of Private Clients, Asset Management, and Int'l Diamond & Jewellery BU's IT functions from RBS, and its integration with Dutch National Bank (Asia) / Fortis Investments. Plus, responsible for the technology separation (divestment) of RBS Pakistan from RBS Group, and heavily involved in RBS HK's retail & commercial business technology separation with RBS Group, so it can be integrated with ANZ.

Farhan graduated as an Electrical Engineer from University of Maryland at College Park, U.S.A. Worked as Software Engineer and Sr. DBA with U.S. Department of Justice for 7 years, in Washington D.C. Moved to Pakistan with one of the largest European Bank called ABN AMRO Bank, initially as a Head of Software Development and later became the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Then moved to Hong Kong as CTO HK and North Asia, ABN AMRO Bank in 2005. Completed an Executive M.B.A. program from Greenwich University, Pakistan; Gold Medalist with G.P.A. 4.0. in 2004. Current position held: Senior Vice President (SVP) - CTO Hong Kong, and Sr. Programme Manager (IT Divestments), Asia."

 
Dr Andreas Wilhelm, Chief Risk Officer Allianz Insurance Management Asia Pacific

Dr Andreas Wilhelm has worked with Allianz for more than 10 years now. He is responsible for the M&A activities of Allianz in Asia and is also the Regional Chief Risk Officer heading Risk Management and oversees local risk managers of Allianz insurance companies in Asia Pacific from the Singapore regional head office. Recently, he was also appointed as the Regional Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to this, he was Deputy CEO Finance with Allianz Life Insurance in South Korea, Head of an in-house consulting unit in Allianz in Germany and Head of the Strategic Business Development Department in Asia.

He started with Allianz AG Holdings' Corporate Finance Dept. back in 1996, specialising in the M&A activities in Asia, South America, Middle East and African markets.

He studied economics and received his PhD in Germany.

 
Mr Ravichandran Venkataraman, Managing Director, ANZ (India)
Experience of 27 years covering accounting, audit, consulting, business finance, banking (corporate and investment banking) and shared services operations having worked in organizations such as KPMG, Digital Equipment, ANZ Bank and Hewlett Packard.
Currently work as the Managing Director at ANZ Bank's Global Back Office at Bangalore managing a team of 4000 staff in technology and operations
Prior to ANZ was with Hewlett Packard's Global Shared Service Center at Bangalore handling a team of over 2000 and in charge of HP's accounting and third party accounting BPO services.
His educational qualifications include B.Com, FCCA (UK) and ACMA (UK). He is an active member of the Shared Services Online Network (SSON), London/ Singapore.
 
Mr Wicahyo Ratomo, Executive Vice President, Head of Alternative Channels Bank Danamon Indonesia
Wicahyo is an Executive Vice President -Head of Alternative Channels at Bank Danamon Indonesia, the 2nd largest private bank in Indonesia with over US$10 billion asset and 40,000 employees. As Alternative Channels Head, he is responsible for managing and developing all electronic channels of the bank, including integrated contact center with over 2 million calls annual capacity, over 800 ATMs across more than 185 cities in Indonesia, state-of the-art internet banking and mobile banking.
Prior to this role, Wicahyo was the Head of Strategic Planning and Business Development at the bank. As Strategic Planning Head, he is responsible for the strategic direction, financial planning and managing transformation initiatives within Danamon Retail Bank. Wicahyo was also responsible for Liabilities/Deposits (Funding Products) & Investment Products (on/off balance sheet) and Banking Services (e.g., remittances).
Prior to Bank Danamon, Wicahyo spent about six years with McKinsey & Company as a consultant in McKinsey USA and Southeast Asia offices. Wicahyo mainly served clients in area of strategy (both M&A and growth strategy) and supply chain/purchasing, serving multiple clients in Southeast Asia, USA and Europe. From client industry perspective, Wicahyo has served multiple clients in financial industry (both commercial and central bank), oil & gas (upstream/downstream), pulp & paper, plantation, retail, healthcare and government linked investment agency
Wicahyo holds an MA (Cantab) degree / Postgraduate Diploma in Economics from University of Cambridge, UK where he was a fellow and scholarship recipient of Cambridge Overseas Trust. He also holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering (Cum Laude) from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Indonesia. Wicahyo received Indonesian Model Student Award from the President of the Republic of Indonesia.
 
Mr Yungky Setiawan, President Director, PT Bank Mega Tbk
Yungky Setiawan has been the President Director of PT Bank Mega Tbk since 2004. He was Director of Retail Banking of the Bank from 1998 to 2004 before being promoted to his current position.
Prior to PT Bank Mega, Setiawan also held several positions at Bank Danamon Indonesia, including Manager Card Marketing from 1989 to 1990, Senior Manager/Assistant Vice President, Product Development and Management Division from 1990 to 1992 and Deputy General Manager/Senior Assistant Vice President, Branch Banking Division from 1992 to 1995.
He was also the General Manager/Senior Vice President at PT Danamon Sanggrahan, President Director at PT Danamon Kreasi Pariwara and Marketing Director at PT Danamon Asuransi in 1997
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from City University, Canada, in 1986.
 
Ms. Voranuch Dejakaisaya, Chief Information Officer, Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited
Voranuch has been appointed to be Chief Information Officer of Bank Ayudhya (BAY) since July 2009. Prior to BAY, she was in GE Capital Thailand for 11 years as her more recent position as the IT Leader for SEA Global banking responsible for overseeing IT initiatives of GE Money across Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia and Hong Kong.
BAY is the 5th largest bank in Thailand and last year has very successful in acquiring other Finance and banking business, so there are big challenges of IT integration for her to make it happen in year 2010.
Voranuch graduated MBA from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand and have over 20 years in IT banking & Finance industry
 
Mr Lalith J Fernando, Asst. General Manager - Risk Management and Compliance, Bank of Ceylon (Sri Lanka)
Lalith J Fernando is currently the Asst. General Manager (AGM) Risk Management and Compliance of the Bank of Ceylon, which is the country's largest government, owned financial service provider. He pioneered the recently set up Integrated Independent Risk Management Division and is responsible for implementing the overall operational risk management framework in the Bank which has a nation wide branch network together with branches in London, India and Male and state of the art technology. In addition he oversees the whole Compliance process including the Anti Money Laundering requirements set up by the Financial Intelligence Unit of Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
During his career at the Bank which spans over two and a half decades he has served in various divisions and branches. He has nearly fourteen years experience in branch banking where he was involved in the accounting and reporting function as well as customer service and credit operations. He was the senior manager in Treasury and Investment Division prior to his present assignment as the AGM and acted as the compliance officer since 2008. Integrating the Risk and Compliance function of the Bank and setting up the Integrated Risk Management Division was entrusted to him upon his wide experience and exposure he has in overall banking.
While being a banker Lalith serves as a resource person to most of the country's leading institutions. Over ten years hands on experience in dealing in risk related areas of a large financial institution together with his general banking experience and qualifications has enabled him as a well known resource person in risk and compliance in the financial industry. He is a visiting lecture at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and renders his services as a resource person to the Institute of Bankers-Sri Lanka (IBSL) and Centre for Banking Studies of Central Bank of Sri Lanka. He also serves as an examiner in IBSL.
Lalith has a MSc in Management from University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka and has a BSc in Statistics from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka.
 
Mr P.A. Kalyanasundar, General Manager, Information Technology, Bank of India
Kalyanasundar is the General Manager of Information Technology for the Bank of India. For the past 35 years, Kalyanasundar has served in various capacities that included the Zonal Manager for Ahmedabad Zone, manager of various branches, heading various departments in the administrative offices and managing the faculty of the Bank's training centre. The wide portfolio provided Kalyanasundar the exposure in banking operations and technology gamut as well as Domestic and International operations.
Kalyanasundar was involved in the implementation of the bank's Core Banking Solution project, which was completed ahead of schedule. Building on the Core Banking infrastructure, has now enabled the Bank to offer to its customers an array of products and services through various delivery channels in a seamless manner. Kalyanasundar has also implemented a fail-safe disaster recovery site for the bank.
Having more than 12 years of experience in the I T related areas of the Bank. Kalyanasundar has vast experience in speaking at various seminars & conferences in India & abroad. Presently, a member of the Technical Committee for:

Mr Chai Hongfeng, Executive Vice President China UnionPay
Chai Hongfeng, Master of Economics, senior engineer, an expert enjoying Government Allowance conferred by the State Council in 1997, is now the director and executive vice president of China UnionPay.
Chai Hongfeng has always been working in the system of the People's Bank of China since 1986, serving the Information Center of State Administration of Foreign Exchange and the China Foreign Exchange Trading Center (Vice president) in succession. During that time, he presided over the completion of the project "China Foreign Exchange Trading System", and was awarded the first prize of Financial Scientific and Technological Progress of PBOC and the second prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress. Since August 2001, he has been participating in the preparatory work for China UnionPay. And he was appointed as executive vice president of China UnionPay in December of the year.
During the period, he was awarded the first prize of bank technology development by the People's Bank of China because he took charge of the completion of the project of "Research and Development of National Debt Trading and Clearing System"; he was awarded the special prize of Bank Technology Development Award by People's Bank of China because of the project of "China UnionPay Bankcard Information Exchange System"; and he was awarded the second prize of Bank Technology Development by the People's Bank of China because he took charge of completing the project of "CUP Bankcard Cross-bank Transaction and Settlement System".
 
Mr Devabalan Theyventheran, Director - Transformation Office and Business Process Development,
CIMB Group
Devabalan Theyventheran is currently the Director of Transformation Office and Business Process Development at CIMB Group. His role entails program management and implementation of the Group's strategic projects as detailed in the overall IT Masterplan, and driving operational synergy across various areas through business process reengineering initiatives.
Theyventheran is also part of the Group Information and Operations Division (GIOD) and is responsible for the operations and methods, process quality and reengineering, and policy and control functions of the Group. In addition, he serves as the principal regulatory liaison for the CIMB Group. In this capacity, he works closely with the various stakeholders in the areas of new business and product rollout, regulatory compliance, and advocating policy/rules changes as necessary in a changing regulatory and competitive landscape.
Prior to his current role, Theyventheran held various positions in CIMB Group in a span of over 7 years. He was the Deputy CEO of iCIMB - a wholly owned subsidiary of CIMB Bank that delivers business process outsourcing solutions to the CIMB Group, Head of Strategic Information Services Department (SIS) in CIMB Investment Bank where he was responsible for group IT, legal services and process reengineering, and Assistant General Manager for Strategic Risk and Compliance where he identified and undertook risk-related and other internal consulting assignments.
Theyventheran spent most of his career in consulting before his move to CIMB Group. He was an Executive Consultant at KPMG Consulting Asia/Pacific in Financial Services (Risk Solutions) and Arthur Andersen & Co (Business Consulting) in Malaysia and has undertaken various financial services/risk projects across the Asia/Pacific region.
Theyventheran has a Masters in Business Administration (Finance and Banking) with honors and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors in Business Administration (Finance and International Business) from the Western Michigan University, USA. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor and an associate of the Malaysian Institute of Management.
 
Mr Christoph Michel, Chief Risk Officer, CLSA Group

Based in Hong Kong, Mr. Michel is responsible for Market, Credit and Operational Risk Management in CLSA Group. He brings 25 years of experience in senior management positions in front office, risk, operations and finance functions in commercial and investment banks as well as in hedge funds in Europe and in Asia. Previous employers include JP Morgan, UBS, Credit Suisse and Nomura. He studied Mathematics, Economics and Business Administration. He completed his studies with an M.A. degree from University of Zurich and an M.Sc. from the University of London.

 
MR. Mark Edward Ross, CEO, CloudGarage

Mr Ross has over 20 years of senior-level technology management and Board level experience with multi-national financial service companies. Mr. Ross also serves on the Board and as a senior level advisor for several start-up companies.

He started his financial services career at a top investment bank (Credit Suisse), where he was responsible for infrastructure and global application deployment for the company's fixed income and equities trading desks. He went on to become the Regional Chief Information Officer and Chief Architect overseeing European and Asian operations for several dominant and global financial service players (e.g. AIG, Thomson-Reuters).

Mr. Ross is a recognized technology innovator. He was most recently awarded the 2009 IDC innovation award for his work using software-as-a-service solutions. Publications of his work have appeared in numerous journals and periodicals and have also been the basis for a Computer World case study.

Specialties of Mr. Ross include strategic technology planning and the integration of core financial service systems including: insurance, asset management, pensions, trust, fixed income and equities systems.

Mr. Ross completed an engineering and economics degree from Carnegie-Mellon University. He also holds a Masters degree in Finance and International Business from New York University's Stern School of Management and from Hautes Etudes Commerciales - a top European business university based in Paris, France.

 
Mr Nafees Khundker, Head of Wholesale Solutions, Asia-Pacific
Global Transaction Banking Deutsche Bank AG

Nafees joined Deutsche Bank in January 2007 and is responsible for establishing and leading the Bank’s wholesale solutions business for the Asia Pacific region. Deutsche Bank’s Wholesale Solutions is a business line within the Bank’s Global Transaction Banking division and dedicated to establishing partnerships with selected banks worldwide for the provision of white labelled Cash Management and Infrastructure Solutions to them and their clients. Today, Deutsche Bank is a recognised leader in terms of Wholesale Solutions services with a significant number of active Wholesale Solutions partnerships. Wholesale Solutions capitalises on Deutsche Bank’s leading global position in clearing (#1 in EUR, #5 in USD) and corporate cash management (recognised leading provider across Europe, Asia Pacific and US).

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Nafees Khundker was with Standard Chartered Bank. Over a span of 12 years, he worked for the bank in Singapore and Middle East & South Asia region. He held various Client Relationships and Transaction Banking positions in three countries, related to Corporate and Financial Institutions Clients. Before Standard Chartered, Nafees spent some time with USAID and The World Bank.

Lukas van der Hoer, Director, Asia Head of Risk Advisory Services, Deutsche Bank
Lukas has 19 years experience in banking and has been working in Amsterdam, Chicago, Hong Kong and presently Singapore. His experience ranges from relationship management of US airlines to the managing of 15 retail and SME branches. Before Lukas moved to Asia in 2006 to become regional head of Risk Advisory, he spent three years as head of credit portfolio management of corporate clients for ABN AMRO Bank in the Netherlands. Since moving to Asia, Lukas was the Project Director for various risk advisory projects in Indonesia, Taiwan, China, Malaysia, the Philippines. These projects include MRM, ALM, ORM, CRM and ICAAP related projects with a focus on how to best implement the desired changes to the risk management framework. Lukas has a master degree in Law and a master degree in Business Economics from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
 
Mr Michael Lor, CEO, EON Bank Group
Michael was appointed as Group CEO in October 2009, after successfully turning around EON Bank Group's Consumer Banking business division, as the Head of Consumer Banking. His vision for EON Bank Group is for it to become "The Preferred Malaysian Bank" in the key areas of service delivery, customer experience and performance excellence. Under his leadership, EON Bank Group continues to record many notable product innovations and financial achievements.
In leading the Bank's Senior Management Team, Michael is responsible to address key areas of competitive business advantage including; extending business performance and business intelligence, cost optimization, enhancing customer experience, risk management and compliance.
Michael joined EON Bank Group in February 2008 as its Head of Group Consumer Banking division. There, he was responsible for transforming the franchise from a non-descript, low-key banking player only known for its hire-purchase franchise for local Malaysian cars to one of the most talked-about Retail Banks in Malaysia. Indeed, EON Bank scored many "firsts" in offering consumers innovative and pioneering products and services that have challenged industry norms.
Before joining EON Bank, Michael was the Worldwide Director for Banking Solutions with Hewlett Packard Asia Pacific, and prior to that he was the EVP and Head of Consumer Banking for RHB Bank Malaysia. Before he returned to Malaysia in 2004, Michael was a Managing Director with DBS Bank (a leading bank in SEA) serving in various senior management capacities in both their Singapore and Thailand operations.
Michael has more than 20 years of Banking experience with extensive focus in Retail Banking in various SEA countries.
He is also currently serving as a Director of the Malaysia Electronic Payment System (MEPS) Berhad.
Michael has a Bachelor degree from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Economics and Statistics.
 
Mr Manu Panda, Managing Director, Experian Decision Analytics, Asia Pacific

Manu Panda is the Managing Director Asia Pacific for Experian Decision Analytics. Experian Decision Analytics provides Risk and Fraud Management Solutions primarily to Banking & Financial Services clients and Telcos.

Manu joined Experian in 2008 prior to which he worked in the Financial Services industry for over 14 years where he held several senior positions in Risk Management across Asia Pacific and the UK. Prior to joining Experian, he was the Head of Credit Risk for the Mortgage book for Barclays in the UK.

 
Mr Dharmender Kapoor, Associate Vice President - Enterprise Transformation Services, HCL Technologies Ltd

Dharmender with 20 years of experience in IT Industry is an executive with proven success and entrepreneurial leadership in growing businesses for information technology and solutions. As a business leader with HCL Technologies, Dharmender has been responsible for setting up tools and engineering capabilities, establish Transformation Services practice with comprehensive and practical transformation services. He and his team has been instrumental in creating intellectual property for HCL in the area of IT portfolio and services management.

Dharmender has been responsible for developing, institutionalizing and helping clients make their IT effective by simplifying and optimizing Applications Portfolio Management (APO), improving IT Governance and helping integrate IT post merger and acquisition. APO and Prizm, both award winning IPs in HCL were incubated by Dharmender and his team and today are preferred choice by customer in managing their applications portfolio and simplifying IT in various business situations such M&A, Globalization, Spin-offs, centralization etc.

 
Mr Lam Mun Choong, Director, Service Portfolio Management, HP Software & Solutions, Asia-Pacific Japan

Mun Choong has 16 years of experience in the IT industry. He started his career with Andersen Consulting in Singapore focusing on delivering banking solutions. In 1997 he co-founded a regional Systems Integrator in South-East Asia that has successfully implemented innovative IT solutions for many financial services institutions. He is now the Director for HP Software & Solutions' Service Portfolio Management solution in Asia Pacific-Japan focusing on the business development of Service Portfolio Management and IT Financial Management solutions. In the past 4 years in HP he has helped many IT organizations in Asia Pacific implement IT management solutions that have helped IT enable effective business outcomes. Mun Choong holds an MBA from Japan and speaks six languages.

 
Mr Greg Bunt, Regional Director for Ethernet Switching (EX), Juniper Networks APAC

Greg Bunt is regional director for Juniper Networks' Ethernet Switching in Asia Pacific. In his role, Greg has overall responsibility for driving the Ethernet switching business.

Greg previously headed the Advanced Technology team supporting mainstream sales in the introduction and promotion of some of the company's most strategic product and solution sets. The charter for Juniper's Advanced Technology team is to pioneer the company's new advanced switching, WAN acceleration and unified access control solutions to the Asia Pacific market.

Greg has a long history in security and infrastructure engineering at Juniper. Prior to his current role, Greg was Juniper Asia Pacific's Advanced Technology Systems Engineering Manager, driving the adoption of the Advanced Technology portfolio from a technical perspective.

Greg joined Juniper Networks by way of NetScreen, when the latter was acquired in 2004. He was NetScreen's first Systems Engineer in South Asia covering all ASEAN countries and Australia / New Zealand. He helped build the regional channel and technical sales business, provided technical training for new Systems Engineers in the region and was the regional expert on 3G/GPRS firewall technology. Greg was educated in Australia and has been living in Singapore for the past two years.

 
Mr Anthony Turco, Director,
Identity and Security Management Solutions, Novell Asia Pacific
Anthony Turco is responsible for product development, marketing and strategy for the Identity and Security Management business unit across the Asia Pacific Region at Novell.
Mr Turco has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry specialising in IT Security for a range of industries and customers. His technical expertise is in the areas of Identity and Access Management, Digital Rights Management where he has authored multiple patent applications, Network, and Applications-based Security and Systems Management. Most recently, he has been involved in large scale government smart card projects, and the convergence of physical and logical access.
Mr Turco possesses a strong executive management background, having founded three independent high technology startup businesses prior to joining Novell. Prior to his entrepreneurial activities, he was with Computer Associates where he ran the Advanced Technology Group for Australia, New Zealand and India.
Anthony earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons Cum Laude) from Old Dominion University in Virginia, USA.
 
Mr Donald MacDonald, Head of Analytical Relationship Management, & CRM, OCBC Bank

Donald manages OCBC's event based marketing, campaign management & CRM activities across Singapore & Malaysia. Since joining OCBC six years ago, Donald has substantially lifted the P&L contribution from direct marketing by reengineering the bank's analytical marketing and CRM capabilities.

Donald has more than 14 years of international experience in Customer Analytics within the financial services sector. Prior to joining OCBC, he worked as an Analytical CRM consultant with IBM Business Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers specialising in delivering data driven marketing initiatives to clients across the globe. In addition to this, Donald spent 5 years with Standard Life Group in the UK - Europe's largest mutual life assurance company - building and leading their Data Mining team.

 
Mr.Venky Krishnakumar, Chairman, Oracle Financial Services Software Pte Ltd

In his role as Chairman of Oracle Financial Services Software Pte Ltd, the Asia Pacific Subsidiary of Oracle Financial Services Software, Venky Krishnakumar provides strategic guidance and experience to Oracle Financial Services Software in Asia Pacific. Prior to Oracle Financial Services, Venky was for most of his career with Citigroup (31 years) where he was Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officer for Citibank’s Global Consumer Bank, Asia Pacific Region till his retirement in 2005. His job responsibilities covered the Groups Operation and Technology, Financial and Treasury Management across Asia and included a global role at managing the transition of Citi’s work to low cost centers. Also, he worked with Mckinsey & Company as a Senior Advisor in their Business Technology practice between 2005 and 2006. In 1997 he became Head of Corporate Banking in the Philippines, and was appointed Chief Executive and Corporate & Institutional Bank Head of Taiwan in 1998. Ray was the Chief Executive and Corporate & Institutional Bank Head of Indonesia from 2000 to 2002, and subsequently appointed Chief Executive Officer, UAE in 2002
Ray is an Associate of the Institute of Bankers in Scotland and a full member of the Singapore Institute of Directors. He holds an MBA from Henley Management College and Brunel University, UK.

Ms Patricia Jalleh, Head of Group Operational Risk Management United Overseas Bank Group
Ms Patricia Jalleh has more than 10 years of experience in operational risk management. She is currently the Head of Group Operational Risk Management at UOB Group where she is responsible for the design, development and implementation of strategies and framework for the management and measurement of operational risks across the Group.
Prior to this role, she was Vice President for Operational Risk Management within the Technology & Operations Division of DBS Bank. Prior to that, she worked in Standard Chartered Bank for more than 13 years initially in internal audit and later as Head of Operational Risk Management for the Group Consumer Bank.
Patricia was named as one of the Top 50 Faces for Operational Risk by the OpRisk & Compliance magazine in January 2009. She chairs the Operational Risk Management Task Force of the Association of Banks in Singapore and the Operational Risk Sub-Committee of the ASEAN Bankers Association. She is a member of the Singapore Financial Industry Competency Standards (FICS) Risk Management Working Group and a trainer for the FICS Operational Risk Programme at the Risk Management Institute of the National University of Singapore.

Mr Jason Millett, General Manager, Strategy, Execution and Transformation, Westpac
Jason Millett joined Westpac Banking Corporation in May 2008, as General Manager Strategy in the Consumer Financial Services Division of the Group. Over the past 18 months, Jason has held several positions including joint CIO for Product & Operations and Westpac Retail and Business Banking, more recently focussing on Strategy Execution and Transformation for the Product & Operations Division. During this time he has led the development of the Bank's consumer and business product strategies to underpin the overall Group strategy of customer centricity. This has focussed on simplification, integration of banking and product services across Westpac and St George brands to provide the logical platform for transformation across multi brand financial services offerings. Prior to joining Westpac, spent 8 years at the Commonwealth Bank in various senior executive roles including: Executive General Manager, Execution for Enterprise IT, leading all major IT programmes and the IT transformation programme for the Bank. Other roles included General Manager Change Management, Premium Business Services, General Manager CommSee National Roll-out, General Manager Marketing and Insurance, Premium Financial Services, General Manager Integrated Products, Premium Direct Services, as well as other programme leadership roles including Programme Director Australian Financial Services Integration -Colonial/CBA post merger integration.
Prior to joining the CBA, Jason spent 3 and a half years as a management consultant with the PA Consulting Group finishing as a Managing Consultant in the Project Management Practice in the Australian operation. During this time he worked with clients on major event preparation programmes including the Sydney Olympics, Auckland's hosting of the America's Cup and the Gisborne "First Light" event.

Alex joined the WIB Executive Team in June 2009 as General Manager, Working Capital Solutions.
Alex Holcomb has led this team, formerly Working Capital and Trade Solutions since June 2005. In this role Alex has focused on providing an innovative range of payments and trade solutions to meet the unique and complex requirements of Australian and New Zealand consumer, business banking and corporate & institutional customers.
Between 1997 and 2005 Alex worked for Westpac in a range of executive level roles. This included General Manager, Group Strategy and Head of Westpac Institutional Bank Strategy.
Prior to joining Westpac Alex was a strategy consultant in Booz Allen's financial services practice based in Singapore and Australia. In addition, Alex has worked on Financial Sector Reform in Bangladesh, in Project Finance for Barclays Bank in New York and Banque Indosuez in France. Alex also worked in a number of sales, credit and risk roles for Chase Manhattan Bank both in New York and offshore.
Alex has an MBA in Finance and Multinational Management and a Master of Arts in International Studies and French from the Wharton School of Business and the University of Pennsylvania. Mr Dodit Wiweko Probojakti, Board of Executives, AKKI (Indonesia Credit Card Issuers' Association) and General Manager, Cards Business, Bank BNI

Dodit is the General Manager, Cards Business, Bank BNI, which is the 4th largest bank in Indonesia, by asset. Wiweko manage the bank's credit card portfolio including issuing and acquiring activities.

With a total of close to 20 year of experience in consumer banking, mortgage, auto and cards, Wiweko has held senior positions prior joining Bank BNI. He was the Director, Chief Operations Officer and Country Government Relations Officer for GE Money Indonesia (2006-2009), SVP of Risk Management Head for Consumer Mass Market for Bank Danamon Indonesia-Temasek Group (2005-2006), VP Head of Credit Risk and Collections for ANZ Bank Indonesia (1999-2005) and Manager for Collections, Cards Business for Citibank Indonesia (1992-1997).

Dodit was also active in AKKI (Indonesia Credit Card Issuers' Association) as the Chairman for Risk Council (2003-2007), and since 2007 was appointed as Board of Executives.

Ms Melissa Perisce, Regional Director, Verizon Business Global Services

Melissa is the Regional Director for Verizon Business Global Services servicing the South Asia region (Singapore, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand). Global Services is a specialized services group focusing on consulting services, security and IT solutions for enterprise and government.

Melissa has approximately 15 years of information technology and telecommunications experience. Prior to joining Verizon Business, Melissa held the position of Executive Director for TrustWave Pte Ltd where she was responsible for all activity in the Asia Pacific region focusing on PCIDSS solutions and forensic engagements.

Melissa's professional experience also includes being based in London developing and executing PCI DSS programs in major European countries, and working in the information technology and telecommunications industry in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.

 
Mr Rajiv Yadav, Chief Operating Officer,Vietnam International Bank
Rajiv Yadav is currently the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Vietnam International Bank (VIB), playing a pivotal role in for the bank's Business Transformation that includes IT Transformation strategy, Transforming and Consolidating Treasury / Trade Finance / Payment Center Operations into centralized operations, Branch Transformation by consolidating Back Office work into a regional back office and Consolidating Credit Card operations.
Prior to VIB, Yadav is the COO and CIO at AIG Retail Bank, Thailand. At AIG in Thailand, he is responsible for all aspects of operations, including underwriting, loan operations, marketing, branch operations/control, information technology, and process improvement functions. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the bank and manages more than 500 employees in the area of IT and operations. In 2008, he played an instrumental role in leading the successful turnaround of the bank resulting in strong operational and financial results the same year.
Before relocating to Thailand, Yadav was the Vice President of Centralized Operations at AIG Inc, Consumer Finance Group in India. The company was in the process of integrating a mortgages business unit and a retail consumer finance business unit when Yadav joined the company. Hence, he was involved in driving the selection and implementation of the Common Platform for the Loan Origination, Loan Management and Collection platform and established a centralized operation for the group.

Mr Chris Matten, Partner, Financial Services Industry Practice, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP

Chris Matten is a partner with the Financial Services Industry Practice in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (Singapore). Chris is charged with the development of risk and capital management, and shareholder value solutions for financial institutions and corporates. He also plays a leading role in spearheading
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)'s global Basel II and Economic Capital initiatives. Before joining PwC in 2003, he spent 17 years in the financial services industry.

Chris' work experience has taken him from the UK, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, to Japan, Switzerland, Australia and Singapore. In Japan, he worked for both UBS and then SBC, as financial controller for their respective investment banking operations. In Switzerland, he was first responsible for the development of integrated risk and financial reporting for the investment bank of SBC, before becoming the Group Financial Controller for the entire banking group. Chris moved to Australia in 1997, to head the capital and balance sheet management function for the National Australia Bank, where inter alia he implemented a comprehensive economic capital capability. In 2001, he joined OCBC in Singapore as Chief Financial Officer, where he had executive responsibility for the bank's financial, management and regulatory reporting, asset and liability management, capital management and investor relations. He joined PwC in May 2003.

Mr Charles Legrand, Head of South Asia, SWIFT

Charles Legrand manages SWIFT's commercial activities in the South Asia-Pacific region. His coverage spans across ASEAN, India and subcontinent as well as Australia and New Zealand. Charles has been with SWIFT for more than nine years and has held roles managing the Middle East and Indian sub-continent region, as well as UK, Ireland and the Nordic region. Charles moved into his current role in January 2008, he is based in Singapore.

Prior to joining SWIFT Charles was with Citibank for sixteen years where he initially held roles in Payments and Cash Management. Later roles with Citibank included managing Foreign Banks Correspondent relationships while based in London and managing customer relationships in Sub Sahara Africa. Charles started his banking career with Barclays Bank International in the UK and Gulf countries.

Charles has extensive international banking experience having worked in numerous countries, predominately across Europe, Africa, and Asia. Charles was educated in the UK; in addition to English he is fluent in Greek and Arabic.
